Why you should visit this area
This area is often described as the most beautiful part of the county - although people from the other areas may disagree!
The churches cover a range of styles, sizes and situations. Ratlinghope and Cardeston are small, intimate churches while Clungunford and Pontesbury are much larger.
The west border is running alongside the Welsh border, so Offa's Dyke is nearby to explore. Near Stokesay church is Stokesay Castle and in Craven Arms is the Discovery Centre and the Land of Lost Content. Clungunford has the award winning tea room as well as the lovely church and Ratlinghope is not far from Church Stretton.
In short, as well as visiting our lovely churches there are lots of other places to visit close by, so come and enjoy exploring this area.
