Unfortunately there is a Group who are going into the Church regularly and are causing problems. We are therefore having to make the decision to close the Church with immediate effect.
St Michael’s Church Ford is situated in a tranquil conservation area just west of Shrewsbury. The building dates back to the early 12th century and boasts many interesting features. The restoration in 1875 added some fine glass, in particular the East window depicting the crucifixion. There ia splendid hammerbeam roof, possibly 15th century, The 'Humphrey Kynaston Way', Bridleway Route 5 passes the church.
